The deficiency and sinking of Spleen-Qi and Kidney-Qi may also be combined with some Qi stagnation and some Dampness. The formula is for such cases due not to Heat or Damp-Heat, but to Dampness obstructing against a background of Spleen-Qi and Kidney-Qi deficiency.

  • Fu Ling was added to resolve Dampness;
  • Gan Cao and Bai Shao were added to “moderate urgency”;
  • Huang Qi and Ba Ji Tian were added to tonify and lift Spleen-Qi and Kidney-Qi;
